The Baker Affordability Pledge helps to remove the cost barrier through our full suite of financial resources. Our goal is simple: to deliver your lowest possible rate by matching our tools to your unique circumstances. Whether you’re a transfer student, a working professional, or a freshman, your path to affordability is custom-built.

Common Tuition Scenarios

Annette

A 2025 high school graduate in Michigan (GPA 3.5+, family income $130,000).

With a Michigan Achievement Scholarship and a Baker College scholarship + housing discount, her estimated tuition (including living on campus) is $4,200/year.

Monica

A transfer student (GPA 2.5 – 2.9, family income of $40,000) who lives on campus.

With a Pell Grand and the BeFree Tuition Scholarship + housing discount, her estimated tuition (including living on campus) is $5,100/year

Marcus

A student who is 5+ years removed for HS graduation and has less than 12 transfer credits(2.5+ GPA and $40,000 family income).

With a Pell Grant and our BeFree Tuition Scholarship, his estimated tuition is $4,100/year (part time student)

Kevin

An out-of-state student (GPA 3.5+, $100,000 family income).

With a Baker College scholarship, his estimated tuition is $12,200/year.

Note: Tuition Assistance (TA) is authorized for tuition charges up to $250 per semester credit hour for undergraduate courses. TA does not cover fees such as the technology fee, course fees, or books/supplies.

Assessed each semester to maintain and enhance student-facing technology. Refundable for students who drop all courses during the first week of the semester.

Residence Hall Charges

Available at Cadillac, Muskegon, Owosso, and Port Huron campuses. If for any reason a student leaves during a semester, there will be no refund of room fees for that semester.
